I think they're unlikely to be viable, because amaryllid seeds don't typically store well. But you won't know till you try.

Depending on how old and whether they were kept in the refrigerator, give it a try, as dbarron says what do you have to lose other than a little water!!

I've successfully germinated seeds that were two years old and had partial success with seeds that were 3 years old but they were kept in one of those tiny paper baggies and stored in a closed plastic container in the fridge.

I'd soak them in water though rather than planting directly in the ground.
