I would like to keep my new Black Magic Colocasia in a pot all year round. I live in zone 7 and my house faces all 4 directions equally. Do you submerge these in some shallow water in a hole free pot? Or do you keep in just wet soil? thank you this is a plant I have wanted!

if you keep it outside in the summer it will get much bigger..mine look pitiful during the winter..this is winter #2 for mine..I have 2..but look how they grow outside..
they look green because I have shade..but you can see the stems are black..I've never submerged my pots in water..I try not to let them dry out..

I grow them outside in the summer in a bucket of water with plenty of fertilizer.
