Home Decorating Windows Design Dilemma

Inside mount curtain rods - help..

I cannot find 3/4" inside mount curtain rods for large windows.. 2 windows are 59 1/2" wide and one window is about 95" wide... anyone out there know of a place to find what I need? one of our windows is 59" and I used an adjustable rod but it is 1" and am looking for thinner rod as it seems to be too bulky at 1"

Where have you looked? JC Penneys has lots of rods and I was at Lowes yesterday and saw some skinny round adjustable rods. They could be inside mounted I think. The brackets are what you need to look at because they should be made small enough to fit on the inside of your window frame but still hold the curtain rod. Also, with an almost 8 foot window..if you have drapes/curtains with any weight to them, you may need a support in the middle.

Last year, I purchased a Umbra Chroma Tension Rod (adjusts 54-90") 7/8" diameter on Amazon. If you rather have 5/8" diameter, try searching Amazon, JoAnn's Fabrics, or Walmart, in addition to the stores erinsean posted.
