Help! Spraying kitchen cabinets gone wrong

I used the critter paint sprayer to paint my dark wood cabinets white. I sanded, used tsp, and primed with killz. I have done about 4 coats of Sherwin Williams showcase in pure white using the critter sprayer. My spraying coats are not even and when looking at cabinets at an angle you can see spraying lines. How can I fix this????

You should have either hired a pro or painted them with a brush. And you are using the wrong paint. A pro would have used a catalyzed conversion varnish. A home DIY would brush on an oil-based enamel.

This home DIYer sprayed. I’m not familiar with that model... can you make adjustments with the nozzle?

We recently sprayed as well and there were no issues Anglophilia. OP I think it could be your sprayer like Hillside mentioned. We used Behr Premium Plus Ultra in a Satin finish. The sprayer we bought was Graco magnum X5 Airless Sprayer and changed the tip for the type of paint and project. Graco had a lot of charts on their website to help with this. We did brush the inside of the cabinets because I did not want to bring a sprayer inside the kitchen, but the sprayed finish was definitely better.

I am going to get self leveling paint and am hoping that will help even out the spray. If that does not work I will be getting a new sprayer like the kind suggested to try. Thanks so much!

Try the Sherwin Williams Pro-Classic in semi-gloss (bought at a SW store, not Lowes). This is the paint that all the pro painters in my area use for cabinets.

SW Emerald or BM Advance are your best choices -both are excellent for cabinets, although the Emerald has a quicker recoat time.
Avoid Behr for any and every painting application.

And yes, what Cook’s said, you have to sand down and start over. Also, depending on what type of wood you’re painting, you will want to do the BIN Shellac primer to avoid tannin bleedthrough with lighter paint colors.

The lines in the spray fan come from cheap tips or cheap sprayers or cheap paint or you don't have the pressure adjusted correctly. You may not have to start over if the sprayer is just putting the paint on unevenly, but if the lines in the paint fan were thick enough then you may have to.

Forget doing anything else. You've already over coated. You can't fix that without an enormous amount of work stripping. That is never worth it. Time to buy new doors and have a professional finish them. That junk paint rig cost you way more than a real one would.

That sprayer looks like something you would use in the garden to spray insecticide. You would get a better finish with a 9.00 spay gun from Harbor Freight. Self leveling paint? Isn't all paint self leveling? It's a liquid. You need to sand it smooth but if its crap paint it will just gum up the sand paper and you need to strip it.
