Hello! I painted my bedroom (master/guest) walls Functional Gray (Sherwin Williams), but it looks more beige than gray to me. It's a warmer gray vs cooler tone, which isn't exactly what I was going for initially. And, the carpeting is light & dark brown, which I think is bringing out the brown in the paint more. Unfortunately, I can't change the carpet. I also have espresso furniture, which has to stay in the room, although could be painted, and am trying to figure out what accents (comforter, throw pillows, wall art) or other tricks will help bring out the gray vs brown in the paint color. I have a lot of pure white framed art, etc. already that I'm thinking of hanging mostly in the master. I also have a cool light gray and white comforter and I'm thinking it makes the walls look less gray because they are such different tones? I'm willing to try anything to get my walls to look more gray and less beige. Master bedroom is a bit more challenging than the guest room because I have the expresso furniture to work with, but my guest room is also this color with same carpeting, but no furniture, so maybe a specific material/color for furniture would help there? Also, I'm hoping to paint or put up removable wall paper on the yellowish closet doors. Any advice is greatly appreciated as I try to bring out the gray in the walls! Thanks! Rachel
