Guess it’s time for me to investigate!

I have read about it in Helen Van Pelt Wilson and Leonie Bell's The Fragrant Year. They thought highly of it. I myself have seen it growing as a bedding plant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill rose garden along with Ivory Fashion and Apricot Nectar. All three of these are beautiful and scented floribunda roses that were highly rated at the time and which have inexplicably fallen into oblivion.
I think I have experience of it in a vase because a gardener who was dead heading at UNC presented me with a bunch of flowering clippings and they lasted a long time in water. This was many years ago when I was a college student.

I grow ‘pink chiffon’ in S Central TX and it‘s really grown on me. She blooms often and seems to be staying at 2.5’ x 2.5’. The fragrance is delicate, some describe as strong and smells to me of tea & baby powder. She has not had black spot problems. I took some pictures this week as she is covered in blooms- I need to change them to jpegs. The blend of white & pink makes for attractive cut flowers.

Aaaand on next years list she goes!

I too grow this rose, and PC has stayed about the same size for me as above and continues to bloom and do her thing despite my benign neglect. I don't spray and I don't recall any disease issues, though to be fair I tend to follow the advice of an old gardenweb poster who said maybe ten years ago or so, that his favorite blackspot remedy was to simply walk past the offender really fast. lol. The only trouble Pink Chiffon has given me that I've ever made note of is that the blooms are extremely susceptible to regular flower thrips damage. In my garden, Fall tends to be the best time to witness the blooms of this plant, after the thrips horde has fled.
