I’m wondering if anyone has a recommendation for programmable light switches. We have some made by Honeywell. They allow us to set the program so our outside lights turn on at sunset, then off at sunrise. That’s exactly what we want.

The problem is that they die after about 6 months and have to be replaced. We’ve gone through Honeywell and they ask for documentation from an electrician, which is a real pain since we are more than capable of installing a new switch. Really, we just want to install something that will not stop functioning after a short period of time. Any recommendations?
