I found a tile I really liked called "Times Square thassos/shellstone chevron polished" from a manufacturer called Cancos that I would like to use for my kitchen backsplash. They have it on display at a well regarded local shop and it looks beautiful. The salesperson ordered one sample piece for me and it looks like it was damaged badly in transit (one of the marble segments was cracked in half and the shell stone part was damaged or fell off in various places :( Our kitchen designer is following up with the store to figure out if this was just a fluke since it was only one small piece. In the meantime, hoping to get some advise on whether anyone has purchased material from Cancos or something similar. And also, if you might have any suggestions of a similar alternative as a plan B (we're looking for white and beige tones).
