I know nothing about the genera myself, it is why I gave you all those links. You will find there all the info you need.

To my eye your orchid doesn't look like the bee or fly and not quite like O. reinoldii, but there can be more to this than meets the eye (too bad you didn't post a pic of the whole flower).

Houzz likes to play tricks on us. Now I can see a pic of the whole flower, but this doesn't change my opinion.

Ophrys is a very large genus. Depending on if you could subspecies or not, there are more than a hundred native to Turkey... not to mention that each species is highly variable! In a relatively short search, I think that ferrum-equinum, lycia, and konyana are all possibilities. I don’t know the genus well enough to decide anything more than these guesses.

Just curious, are these gorgeous terrestrial orchids "growable" by mere mortal orchid growers?

Looks like we forgot to get back to you on this one. Short answer, yes, these do well for growers. Some are available online. Buy from a respected grower, not someone on eBay. Buy a common easy species. They may be harder both to find and grow in OZ. You could always stick with the myriad of Thelymitra species that are native there.

Sadly, not many orchid growers growers cultivate the many native terrestrial orchids that are widespread here. Much easier to grow Epiphytes.

I've got a couple of South African Terrestrials that are easy.
