Proposed new fence

They both look beautiful. But I'm sure you will enjoy that new space more if you are a Hands-On gardener. You can enjoy much more color besides that constant green wall. So jealous.

Originally we had climbing roses on the fence, but ended up removing them due to RRD.

It’s always nice to see photos of your garden. When you were first installing it was around the time I found garden web, and your yard and this courtyard area and lovely house have stuck with me.

NHBabs, thank you. Can you believe we built the fence and garden room back in 2002! We are just getting to old and infirm to prune the 10 foot tall fence of vines 4-5 times a year. Today we purchased the cedar to build the new fence. Will be a different look for sure. But as gardeners all know, a garden is a living changing thing. Plants have come and gone over the years, now it is time for the fence to change.
