Correct, we are not painting the brick just the house.

What is the beige-ish trim color to the right of the brick in your third photo? I could see something like that with the brick, at least how it appears on my monitor. A soft white trim would be nice.

Sorry, not part of your question, but maybe think about garage doors with windows for more interest and less "wall" of garage up front.

Have you looked at any soft white colors?

Also, I'd remove the shutters and trim out the windows :)

Yes, we are replacing the garage doors with something with windows. Definitely will use a soft white trim. Yes nothing would make me happier than to trim out the windows, but right now I just need to focus on one design dilemma at a time:)

Load an accurate photo at the major company sites and let the computers suggest some colors.

You have siding correct?

Yes we do have siding ,I have tried the computer model upload things and no luck they are just not that good (IMO)

I have painted siding and it came out great! Maybe you should prep an area and get some sample colors and see what you like?

Jannete, good guess, it's Colorado..I've done all the samples I can handle, that's why I reached out here. I can make decisions all day but can't pick a paint color:) Just looking for some ideas.

You mentioned Behr's Elephant Skin. It looks a little dark to me, but colors can often appear much lighter on the exterior. Maybe get a sample can to test, or use something lighter, such as Dolphin Fin...?

I live in the south so I’m not sure this vibrancy will work for you. However, every time I drive by this house the color just makes me happy (and I’m not a green person).This house has stone not brick in a similar coloration. Garage door , front door and trim are bright white.

Since green is an accepted color in your neighborhood perhaps you could do a brighter more modern shade.

I find I can help others make a decision much easier than when I have to make the decision for myself. Then I freeze sometimes.

Thank you guys, those are helpful, the dolphin is a bit to light gray, reminds me of what I have now. Might test the light color of messenger bag. Everything I test just seems blah, even though in general I like the "revere pewters" of the world on the exterior it just seems so dirty ...I feel like I need to pick a more clear color, my neighbors just did SW renwick olive (same brick) and it looks fab but ranches can be boulder than 2 stories I think...

I want to test some of the newer yellow greens you see alot of now in new home communities...it's kind of harvest color...any ideas?

This is a color scheme I think looks great but the description of colors don't match up any ideas on the Pratt and lambert colors they state.

@ houssaon , paint is similar to Behr Gray Swam, SW Polished concrete.

I would call it taupe.

And lighter version is Elephant Gray by BM. All colors a medium light shade of orange.

I do not know why OP does not like Functional Gray SW, it is warm gray but brown family. It looks fresh and good with brown roof.

i see more of the mauve/lavender gray tones and would lean that way. Doing a soft mauve/purple door with one of the taupe/mauve grays, would look nice

I also like something like Alpaca, with the charcoal trim, mt etna door.

If you want to go w/the warmer gray tones:

I love these three choices w/your brick. Any combo of these would look nice.

I like the left colors with a very creamy white that leans pink (not blue or green)

Of all of the above, I would choose "Celery Girl" 's second one in her first group. The color tones work the best without the "too gray" look for the brick and it is also brighter, more up beat. Great Job.
