Artificial Light For African Milk Tree

So it's still too cold to put my African Milk Tree outside, but there aren't any areas in my home where it would get sufficient light. Would using an artificial growing lamp supplemented with natural light help, or is it better to only use natural light? Thanks!

Light is light! Artificial light in the right amount is as good as natural light.

Not as good as natural but good enough. I use LED flood light in portable lamp unit on top of mine which helps but not so well. I don't want to go overboard with lighting expense.
