I planted this Kishu mandarin in the fall of 2014. The first spring there were a few flowers and a few fruit. The second spring it never flowered and didn't start leafing out until late June in southern CA. The third spring we had some flowers and fruit, last year, the fourth spring we thought it had finally hit its stride we had what we thought was a lot of flowers and enjoyed the fruit for more than a month around Thanksgiving and Christmas. But this year it has gone crazy with hundreds and hundreds of blooms, on the order of the masses of flowers I see on my Meyer lemon. And the fragrance has been incredible. My kids are already counting the days until they can eat these again.
