gardengal, that's gorgeous! Any more pics from the display gardens?

Here's a few (these are not mine...didn't get there this year)

Too bad it is such a short time for the blooms because there must be tulip festivals, big and small, happening in lots of places, and it would be fun to be able to see more of them.

It'd be nice to have large groups of tulips in my home garden, but they have the luxury of picking them up and not having to look at dying back foliage like most of us do. I know this place I was at digs them up and sells them when they're done.

Can anyone tell me what animal is that statue depicting? It looks familiar but I can't place it.

It's a warthog.....which seems an odd choice for Utah :-)

Thanks! I've probably seen them in zoos and thought I should know what it was. I wouldn't want to run into one of these guys, lol. They change what's in the middle of this display every year, and I have no idea why it was chosen this year, except that it is well done and pretty realistic looking.

It does help! I will keep trying. There are several things I may have done wrong. I think they got too damp in the fridge maybe. Anyhow, thanks for the inspiration!!

For whatever reason, my tulips did very well in my garden this winter. There are tulips that haven't made a damn flower in years that have buds. Now if only it would stop raining and the sun would come out so they would bloom.

ruth, they do like the spring rain. When your tulips bloom, I hope you're able to post the pics in the spring bulb pics post!
