Growing Tomatoes

We have some tall tomatoes ready to plant. Seems a lot of them are tall. Since I put my tomatoes in cages about 6 feet tall, can I just trim off the tops without messing up tomato productions? I know a lot of those cherry tomatoes get very tall! Is this going to cause a big problem? I`m pretty new at growing tomatoes

That's a nice problem to have. Last year I just let them flop over the top of the cage. This year I added some stakes to the top of the cages. Trim them if you want. Since thy are cherries, you'll probably have hundreds anyway, and slowing production might not bother you.
