totoro, according to K&M, it has strong and delicious fragrance varies between a soft, floral Tea and almost pure lemon according to weather conditions. Helen

Helen, mine is own-root and that may be the problem. I think it's about three years old, and another problem may be rose replant disease since I've had several other roses in that area before. Even this rainy winter and spring didn't animate Charles when so many other roses perked up.

I've given Charles Darwin notice. Either he reblooms this year or he's out. There's been two seasons now with not one sign of rebloom after the spring. We're off to a good start so hopefully he will turn around.
