Need help with sad looking orchid

I am a reasonably good (outdoor) amateur gardener, but am having real trouble with my orchid, which is probably because I have little idea what I'm doing. I have been careful not to overwater it, put it in a spot with plenty of indirect sunlight, and mist it once in a while, but it just keeps looking worse and worse. Does anyone have any advice for me?
