will I regret planting scilla?

I love the pop of blue provided by scilla siberica in spring. I once planted muscari, which I also love, but regretted it within two years as they started to multiply out of control, and the second flush of foliage in fall made things look a little ratty. Will scilla give me similar regrets?

I have a small semi-urban garden where everything is "up close," not a giant swath of lawn in which to naturalize bulbs and enjoy from afar. It is packed full of plants, though, so bulbs are covered fairly well by new perennials coming up.
