So my mom had a new home built a couple of yrs ago and her "builder" left large, black permanent marker stains on her shower tile (he cut on the wrong side of the line). He said he would come back and remove them, tried once, couldn't and gave up, mom is done with dealing with him as there were many other "mistakes" made. To date we have tried: rubbing alcohol, hairspray, graffiti remover, acetone, magic erasers, toulene, brake cleaner, and in a very small spot going back over it with marker and trying to remove it. Wanted to know if anyone had any other ideas to try to get those stains off. The tile is just a ceramic tile from Lowes and has a very low or no sheen to it. Appreciate any advice!
