So - there's a gap because the countertop isn't long enough for the run of cabinets + a gap where the backsplash stops short of the appliance cabinet for the refrigerator?

You may need to provide more details (e.g., why is the countertop undersized for the space) + a photo from further back in order for any solutions to be suggested.

The handles for the drawers appear to not line up with each other - how did that happen?

There is no fix that will make it look right, other than replacing the counter.

Why does the backsplash end too short as well?

So. The problem started cause the fridge which is to the right was too far left. Causing the drawers not to clear the stove. So i had them move the fridge and cabinets two inches to the right. Which resulted in the two inch gap in the pic.

And what did you use to fill the gap between the upper cabinets and the fridge? You are going to have to fill the gap between the backsplash and the fridge as well as the counter top gap. Maybe you can use whatever you used up top on the bottom?

Who designed this kitchen? What remedy do they suggest?

It looks like they used filler to fill the gap b/w the upper cabinets and the refrigerator. Why didn't they run it down to the counter?

Run the filler all the way down to the top of the base cabinet - it should fill the gap on the counter as well.

Are you sure the quartz is discontinued? I just did a search and it seems like it might still be made. Perhaps you can find a remnant or something that approximates it, even plain white, and have a small filler piece made.

The problem was never the fridge. It was always the stove because even if the refrigerator did not exist the cabinets would have to be moved so the drawers could clear that oven handle.

Can the fridge and the stove be swapped? It looks like the drawer would clear the fridge if the cabinets were placed under the countertop as it should be. Otherwise a cooktop and no oven would work.

Buehl, what about the gap at the front edge of the countertop? Would continuing the wood filler filler down work?

Seriously, why not get a range that fits?

Have no idea how this happened but would go back to the cabinet company for a proper fix. If it's a DIY, then I guess you can make it like a wide filler panel. Perhaps it how the picture was taken put the pulls look as though they aren't lined up properly.

And then the drawers are not lined up with the end of the countertop. Maybe just get a new countertop. Do what Diane said, there has to be a remnant, make a filler?

Pull the top; rip a 2" deep section from the bottom half of the left wall section and seam it on. Rip and reprofile the left front edge to reduce the overhang; leave a radius in the corner this time. Reinstall the top; it fits now and the perfect left material color matched seam, while longer than one that would have been on the right, is much less conspicuous because of its location.

Thanks everyone so much! The problem was the filler to the right of the fridge. It was 3” rather than 1”. When they fixed that filler to 1” and moved everything over to the right, it created the 2” gap. The stove was the original and the cabinets cleared the stove before. I kept same footprint of the old kitchen.

I will look for the quartz again. I think using the cabinet filler next to the backsplash. And a 2” quartz filler for the countertop sounds best. I had them make a spice rack to close the space but it looks like it doesnt belong there. And the overhang is meh. Will send pic asap.

The pull on that first cabinet is off center. Its since been corrected.
