white oak engineered flooring advice needed

Decorating in a light, coastal decor. I am looking for light, white oak wide plank floors with very few knots. Any suggestions? Has anyone had experience with Provenza floors - more specifically the Carnegie Hall or West End flooring? Thanks in advance!

Diane McGaw , We do a TON of projects in South Florida and in coastal California. You want to find a high quality America made Engineered floor. White Oak is ideal for coastal decor. I would suggest a light whitewash or similar finish. We use Bona with good results. Let me know if you have any questions. joel@oakandbroad.com

Oak & Broad - What about Provenza? There are several dealers here in NY that sell a ton of it and have never had a problem. I saw some terrible reviews but have also been told that they have different lines of different quality...

If you want fewer knots I would suggest a Select & Better grade floor. A 4mm wear layer should be a minimum and is usually a good starting point when looking for good quality. I dont know anything about those particular products only our floors :-)
