Valances are considered outdated by many, but in your situation I just don't think you need them. They will detract from the clean lines of your entry.

Instead of valances have you considered adding trim around the windows? Adding molding (like around your door) would give the windows a more ‘finished’ look.

Door sidelites should not have valences. But Even if those windows were not door sidelites, they are too narrow to look good with valences; the proportions would be wrong. And even if those sidelites were not narrow, and were not sidelites, valences are dated other than for a bedroom, and even in a bedroom, only done in a minimalist way, since about the early 2000’s.
