Have never seen nor heard of Lunar Lily White before. Images showing up via a Google search, brings up some nice photos. I like how the flower form is so different from the vast majority of AVs.

irena_co - so good to hear from someone who has experience with this plant! I think it's deff worth the work. :) You inspire me to go ahead and repot it - it got dumped by our cat when it was so tiny, and we had just moved so I didn't have time to put more soil in it at the moment, and then it kept growing and acted really happy way deep in its pot, in its inch of soil. LOL. One leaf is big enough to start being bent by being squished by the pot now, so I REALLY need to put more soil in it. Going to do that now. :)

Paul MI - Yes! I had never heard of it before until a sweet lady on here sent it to me! I am super excited to see how it blooms. I generally don't go for white, but this one really intrigues me.

Rosie1949 - ha ha! Oh yes I would love love to come to the Ann Arbor sale! It sounds like a ball and I've never been to anything like that before. ;) It's hilarious, a young man who saw my window sill of violets was like, "Ah, African Violets. When I worked in a greenhouse those didn't sell at all. No market for them." I let it slide but I was laughing to myself. He's obviously never met an African Violet enthusiast until now. LOL

Sue your minis and standards are absolutely stunning! I do have only 3 standards because it takes too much place. This standard one came from and old friend priest who worked for 20 years in Africa. I think it has been taken there but I can't tell because he dide 5 years ago. He had about 25 plants in his little room. He was an great african violet lovers. The flower makes 2 inches wide and the color ( violet almost blue) is so vibrant. I love it! I keep multiplicate it because I am always giving one to collegue...

That's a lovely flower! I love it that you give away extras! I've done that also - although I know that most of them will probably die if the person I'm giving it to is not an AV lover.

I just cross my fingers when I do it and try to do not think about a possibily poor dying one...

But I must tell, the first 3 collegues to whom I gave violet still have their violet ( this one and minis) in good shape after almost 2 years so ...

But recently I gave a little persian lace to someone I tought would be carefull but last week I saw that the poor little one was almost drowning ... I explained again how to wet it and hope this time it will be well understood...

Ahhh, Marianne, don't be discouraged. I feel when we give a violet or plant to someone, we should try to educate them. I am sure you initially did. And when you saw the violet drowning,,,,you threw it a life preserver!!!! (as in information!!!) And the person will learn and maybe the violet will do well!!! (always hopeful) Rosie
