Cambria Ironsbridge countertop with black kitchen?
We have installed a black Ikea kitchen (Lerhyttan) and are considering installing a Cambria Ironsbridge countertop (with long white subway tiles for the back splash). We live in a small 1970's side split and the kitchen can be seen from several rooms. The colours in our home are warm and there is a lot of wood. I like Ironsbridge because it contains a combination of cool and warm tones, but I am not sure if it will be too cool for our home. What do you think? And do you recommend Ironsbridge for a kitchen with black cabinets? As you can see from the picture, our floor is currently a cream tile, but we might replace it. At some point, we will replace our appliances with ones that are black stainless steel. We are using plywood as a temporary countertop.

7 years agoTo me it looks like a good match as long the slab is not too beige. Black cabinets would be a nightmare for me....

PRO7 years agoI think Ironsbridge might go pink in your space. I would go whiter and set a pair of hand turned multi wood salt and pepper grinders on your countertop to bring wood tones in. Take a look at this from Cambria.
