BenT, your Eden is so pretty!!! Do you have it on an obelisk? I am still debating whether I should have it on a trellis or an obelisk. I am in Zone 6b, and I am afraid it wouldn't reach its full height here.

Yes, my Eden is on obelisk. I understand we’re in different zones, but my biggest mistake with Eden is not giving her sufficient space and support. I’ve only had the plant a bit over 2 years, and she wants to be 8x14 feet, and I’m not sure how to stop her, pretty much obscured and devoured the obelisk, and is growing too close to other favorite roses. If you do put Eden on an obelisk, I’d say at least leave enough space so that you can do a trellis later If needed.

Oh yeah that’s def Eden. She blooms and sends all her energy into canes and most likely won’t bloom again till next spring.
I planted one last year and it blooms on the stubby old growth and before shooting out 8 foot canes that are riddled with buds this year.
