Decide on whatever architectural changes will be made first. (I would recommend removal of the strange masonry porch roof supports and replace them with some nice beefy porch posts or simple columns that fit the house style you're creating.)

Second, work out a functional hardscape plan. It is neither pretty to look at or comfortable to use skinny walks that are plastered right at the side of the building. If you want help with this, come back after you purchase the property and take some useful pictures. (Get some instructions first on how to take the photos so that they show what is important in a way that we can comprehend it.) You'd also need to prepare a simple plan (draw a rectangle for the house & another for the porch and two lines for the driveway, measured to scale. )
