Large Masterbedroom Help-358sq ft

I have a new construction home and a very large masterbedroom. I want to change out the light fixture. the curtains are staying but will be raise higher to the ceiling. My style is transitional, French country and contemporary classic. The walls are light grey, the master bath cabinets and tile are light grey pic will be attach below.

  1. My ceiling is weird. if I paint should I paint the wall and the slop ceiling or just the wall? I am also open to wall paper that is peel and stick only. Pics below

  2. I have a total of five windows. 3 windows on one wall and 2 on another wall. I also have French doors leading to the bath and entry of the room . the fixtures throughout the home is oil bronze rub which I will like like on stick with. should the bed be on the wall with the two windows or the wall with no windows?

I am open to anything that isnt dark brown, or tan. I just purchase this bed so this will be staying along with the curtains which are a white satin linen.

Don't go "matchy-matchy" with the furniture as you show in your last photo. Your ceilings are high enough to do a 4-poster bed. I might consider a metal bed with an antique brass or oil-rubbed bronze finish, then bring in some pretty bedding and drapery. Note how these beds have an upholstered panel so you can comfortably lean against it. The bed should go on the non-window wall. Some ideas for you:

I just bought that bed is there something I can do with that bed? I cant return the bed but I wasnt buying those matching pieces. I was thinking something more of mirror furniture because I want it to be sorta glam, contemporary but transitional

I want to do peel and stick wall paper, painted wall or metallic paint on the wall but not sure how far I should paint up with these slope cove ceilings also. I dont want the whole room in that color either because I get tired of things fast.

Sorry, missed the part about you having already purchased the bed. Go super simple, then, with the nightstands. Mirrored pieces or something with brass and glass might work, too. The key is to go with cleaner lines to offset your very traditional bed.

I actually like that first mirror table especially for storage and the ones with the brass will look awsome with the oil bronze rub fixtures. let me search

Agree with Sabrina Alfin Interiors that cleaner simpler lines would be your best bet for side tables. Depending on the room layout (and the height of the mattress) that could be a small chest or a table or even a desk. (one of my fave rooms with a similar bed has a tall etagere with a garden stool in front of it ;-) That new bed is 70" high, so scale is going to matter. Can you share a rough floor plan?

Also, peel and stick paper is hard to use in long lengths. Might be better having wallpaper done by a pro. They will make sure it will look good and ensure relative ease for when it comes down.

holly bar that is a good idea. let me see if I can find the layout to this floorplan. I know the room is a total of 358 sq ft. I'm going to put a electric fireplace in here with a separate seating nook also

this is the floorplan the sq footage of the room is 176inches in width and 287 in length. I kinda like the bedroom on the side with no walls because you cannot see directly into the room from the living room versus the bed being between the windows.

my box spring I just order is 5.5. inches and my mattress in 12 Inches. the total height of my headboard from the website is 72 inches from floor to top. Base on the measurements I did the headboard is pretty tall which I was going for.
