It looks a lot like Morning Lilac!

Googled that one which seems to be a little more purple, as this one is more maroon or burgundy. So hard to tell from the different variations of color on the Web.

Scarlet heaven looks red. I don’t believe it’s a Monrovia but will look at their website. Thank you.

I dug out the tag and it is a Monrovia. I just looked at the website and it looks like it is a ‘Yankee doodle Dandy’. Thank you so much Lizbest1

It looks like PInk Ardour. All the vendors have them this spring. Yankee Doodle Dandy is a much darker purple.

Although I’m leaning towards the Yankee doodle Dandy, as it is a Monrovia. Plus it is fading just as it states it does.

Looking at this and many other pics, it seems to be a match....

In reality Yankee Doodle Dandy is a darker purple than the picture shows. I have had it for 5 years now. Here is PInk Ardour (I bought it this year too)

When it first bloomed I thought it was a mislabel Yankee Doodle Dandy. Upon closer observation, there are subtle differences. YDD is a darker purple without the pink undertones.

YDD blooms dark and then fades to the shades in the pic. Pink Ardour holds its color.

It is "pink ardour". "Morning Lilic" and "Scarlet heaven" has different color
