Recommendations on front load washers

What front load washing machines, that are currently on the market, do you recommend and why? What should I consider when looking at washers/dryers that aren't listed below?

Requirements:

Must be able to wash King Size comforter and sheets, not necessarily at the same time. Also, the laundry room has space for large washer/dryer sets.
Prefer it to have an internal water heater or be NSF certified (allergen reduction/sanitize).
Reliable, but that's probably hit or miss.
If not reliable, good customer service. Although, that's probably hit or miss too.

Things I have determined:

Miele is too expensive and probably not large enough.
Bosch is not large enough.
Speed Queen is not large enough.
Samsung seems to be having issues.
Electrolux, also, seems to be having issues.

Which seems to leave these: LG/Kenmore, GE, and Maytag/Whirlpool.

The model# is GFWR2700HWW and it's a 4.5 cu ft. No problem with our king sheets and it is quiet. I've had no other issues. I do a cleaning cycle about every 2 weeks with an Affresh washing machine cleaner tablet.

I've washed king blankets but not sure if I've washed a comforter. A 4.9 cu ft might be better for you if you wash large comforters. I'm not really a consumer reports person, but 732 user reviews averaged 4.5 stars out of 5. I have no experience with the newer models.

We've had our GE front-loading washer and dryer for 4 years. I don't recall the model # but I can get it if you want. The only issue we've had (knock on wood) is that occasionally we get drips down the front of the washer from the drawer where you put in detergent, softener, etc. Maybe we're just putting in too much detergent.

It has a sanitize / allergen mode as well as steam. For most of our washes, except for whites & sheets), I use the quick wash cycle which takes about 40 minutes.

Is it the 4.5 (GFW450 or GFW430) or 4.9 (GFW490 or GFW480) cu ft? Plenty of room for larger loads? And other than the detergent drips, no other issues? Because I have seen some pretty horrible reviews on some of them. Leaking issues, not draining, being loud, etc. Though I have no doubt that other brands have similar issues.

I absolutely love my Maytag front load machine. I have the 5500 series (now replaced with the 5600 series but almost the same). They are 4.5 cu and fit my king comforters no problem. It replaced a 15 year old Electrolux machine. I bought them at a sears going out of business. if they had an Electrolux machine i would of got them as they are great machines. That said I do not regret my purchase of the Maytag machines at all. They clean amazing and do have an onboard heater. I got a extended warranty for piece of mind directly from Maytag for under 200 for both the washer and dryer. I’m covered for 6 years total.
