I like the yellow, as far as I can tell, as well. Gray, would be too much like every other room people are painting these days. So many gray rooms. I like gray, but to me the yellow is more unique and goes well with picture over the door

The paint color is Benjamin Moore "straw". I have "Tyler taupe" in the dining room. That grey is gorgeous!

What about red!!!

Beautiful kitchen, but I believe grey and tan would fade it. Maybe a light terra cotta color.

Keep the yellow. One suggestion: The space looks busier than it needs to. I'd take the Beach sign off the hood, put towels on hooks/rod inside cabinets and try to de-clutter the counters. I say this as someone who struggles with counter "stuff" herself, by the way

Wow! Your kitchen is beautiful! I know what it's like, after a long time, you want a change, but your kitchen is so lovely, you don't need to add or alter any thing! But If you really want to change something just to feel anew, I would paint the walls, maybe a duck egg color, then when you are tired of that - back to yellow:)))

Ps. I'm really intrigued with the red island. Do you have a picture of it?

This picture shows more of the kitchen, including my messy desk, and every day clutter! The island is actually maple stained a dark red.

I love a yellow kitchen, BUT I just recently painted mine a pale blue green which I think would look spectacular with your red accents. My kitchen is painted Carolina Club Inn Aqua and I LOVE it. My photo comes across much more blue than the color is- I blame it on not having a nice camera! The third picture is one I found online which is a truer sample of the color. :)

I love this color howellmsue! One of my favorites. I agree it would look beautiful in the kitchen.
