Teuth ...Coco was my grandson's daschund and I seemed to acquire her on a split marriage so now there are 3 wieners in our house . She loves to play. and yes she has a silly face. The other two are old now

She grows on you and has gone through so much over the past 5 yrs.. Some good and some not as good. Certainly has a few issues but took the best place in bed now.. in the middle and not at the end of the bed. Thank goodness we do have a King bed ha ha

newhostalady The ligularia is so easy to grow and if you lived closer I have a whole kiddy pond that I dug out from seeds that grew. I have them all over the yard now and if you want I could save seeds and send them in the fall. I took a whole bunch and threw them in a pile and they grew into a huge plant in my front flowerbed . . I have given away so many to ones that want them / . Just making supper now but will look at the ones you named and if I can edit the picture will add the names if I can recall them. Found a bunch of my paper work so may be them if I never moved them from a few years ago. Late supper tonight as it got nice and sunny and the lawns looked like hay fields too

Loved the tour of your garden! The combo of Touch of Class and First Frost is perfect! I hesitate to post my guesses on names...I have never been right yet. (That doesn't stop me though). Zounds is an all gold,so that's not it. The June Fever sport could be June Spirit. The Stained Glass reminds me of RF Sunrise or Pocketful of Sunshine. Just call them beautiful. Coco is charming...who could resist that face!

Coco is really cute! My son’s two dachshunds are coming over to stay for the next week while they’re out of town and it’s great timing because I saw a bunny in the yard yesterday... grrrrr....

Faye, I have enjoyed looking at your pictures again! Thanks for taking the time and adding the names of the hosta to the pictures! I agree that the Stained Glass hosta is not SG. It actually does look like Rainforest Sunrise. I love the coloring and the puckering of that hosta. I wonder how much sun your hostas get. I did have a Rainforest Sunrise once that I lost. It looks to me that your hostas get quite a bit of sun so they have a fuller look to them than mine do. I am asking you about the sun because I am contemplating adding some hosta to an area that is full sun. I am worried about doing that because I don't want them to look ugly in the summer, and I don't want to look at dried up or bleached out leaves! They would be in my front yard. (I cannot plant a tree to provide shade there.)

I sure do wish you and I lived closer because if I were welcomed to your garden, I would love to see your impressive hostas! And I would love to have a ligularia plant too, and I appreciate your offer of ligularia seeds. I have given it some thought and I think it best if you do not send the seeds. My property is small and I don't have much place to grow seedlings. Last year someone gave me hellebore seedlings. I kept them in a pot. One by one they disappeared until I had none! I am afraid that would happen with your seeds!

So glad you are able to post pictures now! I don't think it would be possible to get tired of looking at your garden!

Thanks everyone . This is one of my smaller ares of 6 and if I ever get it all weeded I will post more areas. . I did try planting some of the ligularia in cedar planters yesterday and will see if they live or not. If they do okay and if not , They needed to be taken out as they were two yr old plants that grew from the seed. I transplanted a whole flock of seed hosta from raking that were on paths into a sun garden... same thing if they live okay and if not okay too. One could eat them some lady said but personally I thing I will stick to asparagus in the spring
