ID please? Low groundcover, small leaves

Saw this while out walking today, can anyone ID? It was in a mostly shaded area of a small rock garden. I should have included something for scale but didn't think of it at the time. I would guess that the largest leaves in the photo are about the size of a small fingertip.



(I am still collecting groundcovers for some dry shade areas of my garden so I'm curious about every likely looking new thing I see)
