Sorry, it’s Ginger Wine (improved Coppertina)

Interesting - how is it improved, do you know?

Coppertina is said to have mildew issues, but never has had mildew in my garden in 10 years, and I like the color which looks brighter to my eye all season than Summer Wine. I haven’t seen Ginger Wine. Since your area is similar to mine, Coppertina may not have disease issues in your area either. Have you gone to a large nursery to do some in person comparison in person as to color?

Aha.. I have no mildew issues either, and Coppertina is a lovely color.

I grew Coppertina in my old garden and never had disease issues. My current favorite is 'Center Glow' - great coloration all season and even more so in fall. No sign of PM.
