Don't have your closet door swing in! It's a horrible, space-eating conformation.......I had a 28" door swinging inwards in my condo's bedroom closet, and I chose to just remove the door rather than deal with an in-swinging closet door. (I didn't rebuild because it would be too much work and money for too small an issue, but if I was building, there's no way I would have planned it like that. I did replace the inward swinging door in my ensuite, though.)

A 30 inch pocket door in location green would be my choice.

Thanks! We were considering a pocket door but that wall would have some outlets and cabinets installed. Wasn't sure a hollow wall could work for that.
