I want to replace the sliders and windows in the back of my home. The two doors and windows are visually the same height. However, the rooms are different heights and I want to increase the heights of the widows and doors to eliminate dead space above.

The bedroom height is 8'. The living room height is 10'. The family room height is 9 feet. The sliders are 80" in height and are located in the 8' bedroom and 9' family room. Is it okay, to increase height of everything other than bedroom?

The bedroom is on the far right. Living room window is in the middle and family room sliders and windows are to the left (in front of table and bar). e attached picture
