Yup. I have two different sconces from Rejuvenation. One is 'dark bronze' the other is 'antique bronze.' Both look matte black to me.

The photos have a definite dark bronze-ish look to me. I was a little surprised PB couldn't answer my question regarding the finish being bronze or black. They had the manufacturer contact me, and they made it sound like matte bronze IS black.

jacqtopia, you're probably right about the finish varying.

I have 3 of the side tables that they don't seem to make anymore. They all look matte black to me.
