What a lovely home! Here are my budget friendly ideas if you have DIY skills. I would sand and stain the trim in a light color like your floors. Repaint in a beachy shade you love. Pick out a new rug for the living room. I would put in a new countertop and sink in the bathroom. I would retile the bathroom floor and pull out the wall tile and replace with a bead board trim. If new paint doesn’t help the kitchen then paint the cabinets or paint the chairs and legs of the table.

If this was just my fun vacation home and not a full time home or rental when I’m not there or if I didnt have good DIY skills, I would slap some paint, replace the rug, save my money and go enjoy the beach like the previous poster said.

Everything teddytoo said... tho I'm not sure you need to sand and paint the trim immediately. Just do a weekend marathon and paint the walls appliance white, or perhaps a pale sand color. Install simple, minimalist light fixtures in the dining room and kitchen. Pick a beach-inspired color (salmon? turquoise? pale gold?) and add just a few accents (wall art, pillows, a couple glass vases, etc.) to introduce that color. If you have more time, paint the kitchen cabinets and change the knobs. Relax and enjoy your condo and live with the dark trim as you think about whether to paint it. It looks as though your sliding glass door and kitchen window are brown aluminum, so painting the trim white might make the aluminum frames appear even more prominent. Congratulations on owning a place by the beach!
