shrub/tree identification--did the smartphone app get it right?

Hi Everyone,


Could you help me identify these shrubs/trees? I've sent the pictures to a smartphone app "PictureThis" but am not sure how accurate the results are (please see the pictures below). If you can identify these shrubs/trees for me, it will not only help me to learn more about plants but would help determine whether these are "weed trees/shrubs" or not. Thanks so much.


(1) Is this Japanese honeysuckle (i.e. Lonjap)



(2) Is this American black cherry?





(3) Is this really Norway maple...?

    #2 and #3 are correct. #1 genus is correct, species is tatarica. L tatarica and L morrowii are quite similar, the latter having hairy leaves. The two species will hybridize so separating the two can be difficult. L japonica is a vine.
