Shelia, I think you are right about the red being John Cabot! It is something I would have planted and then forgotten. For the pink you could be right too. The name isn't ringing any memory bells.

Here's a couple more pictures of the pink. There is a touch of white streaking at center of some petals. Not obvious. What do you think? All I can remember is thinking "I don't know what this rose is." when I bought it. I remember researching it as to black spot resistance. Info indicated reasonably good resistance. Which has shown to be the case. The rose gets some black spot but it doesn't bother the plant.

My biggest wondering is that my rose has naturally very shiny leaves. Pictures of Prairie Dawn don't always show this type of leaf? Some leaves seem to be matte, some to have the extra small leaves of a wild rose. This plant has classic modern rose leaves. Shiny, as said. The previous research I did, didn't indicate a climbing rose for whatever variety it was. I think it said around 3' height. Which is why I placed them in the front of the bed. However, one of these roses is sprouting up a couple of taller canes, which comes as a surprise.

I'm thinking 'Morden Belle' for the pink. Ran across it while researching 'Prairie Dawn'. 'Morden Belle' is supposed to be 3', with glossy foliage. Flowers look the same. What do you think? 'Morden Belle' is also a Parkland Rose.

Dara, the second picture of the pink, the leaves did jump out as being wrong for Prairie Dawn. PD does have matte, unshiney leaves. I don't know Morden Belle. Morden Centennial was another attractive pink, but I don't remember shiney leaves on that one either. You may have gotten it!
