I do have scale and I can’t seem to get rid of it but I’m also afraid I have root rot. I’m not even sure. I replanted my tree and it was like all the roots fell off.

I think some of the roots broke off when we had a tornado earlier in the week and it blew over.

You can kill the microbe that causes root rot by watering once with a hydrogen peroxide solution. Mix 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide to 8 parts water.

It just seems like 75% of the roots have fallen off. Will it survive? It has a lot of growth.

It might still survive.

Yes, if you have not exposed the root to the air too long. Those roots actually look pretty healthy. Just be sure to let the tree rest in part sun for a bit until it perks up.
