Entrance Room/Great Room Design Help!

We decided to remodel our family/great/dining/entry room in our house. This room was an addition off our kitchen and connects to the garage, so we use this as the main entrance to our house.
It has always been very awkward and under-used. We just installed the laminate this week, and I am debating on how to design the space. We will need to have our dining room table in the room, but any suggestions on how else to design this as an entrance and living space are greatly appreciated! It is approx 15 x 20’. Thank you!
