Hi there, we've recently stained our deck with a solid deck paint by Behr, the color is slate so nearly black. Clearly I'm realizing now how it will be a pain to keep clean. But I feel like it's impossible. Anyone who walks in the deck - bare foot, in shoes, a pet - there are footprint stains left behind. You can't simply spray them off, you have to wipe them off with a wet towel. The deck is very large, so trying to keep it stainless or even somewhat stain free is really difficult. It's not like there is mud on the shoes or feet? But it happens instantly and Is difficult to clean off. Is there any sort of product we can apply on top to make it more resistant to this sort of thing? Or are we just stuck with it unless we strip it down again and re-stain (which honestly, is unlikely to happen). Hoping someone can offer advice. Thank you!
