Long wall on which garage door is to be installed, is 83”.

67” is the mirrored closet wall,

And section in which entrance door and sidelight are on.

Then there is a 27” short wall.

Should the door be installed in the middle, left? Right? To enter the garage?

How should the stairs go in the garage... it’s about 3 steps lower from main floor.

Swing right? Or left?

Im happy to show our new door, insulated out of steel, swinging in.

I hope its the right decision that it swings to to the left when entering from garage?

Now we need to decide on stair placement. And width.

If we should make a landing, before entering into house.

And if it should extend to the wall(12”) from door frame.

How/ where to place stairs entering garage:

Wood frame? Most every place I know states in the building cod that this door needs to be fire rated, and that will not be fire rated with that frame........................
