Thank you Debra and Nancy.Nancy, one or two favorites may be in the comments since HOUZZ cut me off with four photos. Debra, I suspect I am having one long peak instead of two peaks like last year....I like this better. My plants need grooming and since we went out of town for a couple of days and I have been under the weather plus all the rain, I have to pull grass every time I take photos. The plants have really been beautiful. some favorites are ending, but lates are all budded up and we will see how that factors in. Entwined outdid herself, and Ledgewood's Jumpstart have been a real bloomer this year. Debra, the Grape Twizzler is doing well...I am so tickled to have it. Do you see the Alice in La La Land? It was supposed to be red, But I kind of like the funny twists, so it may stay. I was going to post Heavenly Angel Ice, but Houzz turns it and counts double so later.

I am more pleased every time I see a pic of Entwined in the Vine that I got it! So very pretty, even though it will be a while before it gets to that size. S beautiful clump of it and Ledgewood's Jumpstart. I really like the color of Alice in La la Land.

Thank you, Julia. I have really enjoyed this unusually long period of intense bloom. I love the colors and have been blessed with a lot of tall ones. Last fall I spent many hours planning and making changes, but the long rains and deep mulch probably had more to do with the bloom than any plans of mine. I don't expect the usual long re-bloom although there will be some, as a few will be beginning re-bloom soon. Thank yo for looking Sherry. The clumps were really pretty today since the sun wasn't out for quite a while, but it wasn't raining either.

What magnificent clumps of Ledgewood's Jump Start and Entwined! The photo of the Grape Twizzler pair is beautiful too. I always like the look of Jellyroll Morton but never got it because I thought the color was too simiar to Stealth Bomber. How would you compare the two?

Garden looks great as usual! Really refreshed after the rain. Clumps are outstanding and of course love EITV!!! It almost takes your breath when you see it like that.

No, No. You want Jellroll Morton... it has more pink/red tone than SB (more blue tone).

L. Jump Start has really had a good year this year...It is happy in its new home and showing it. EITV....what can you say? If anything deserved the Stout's medal, surely it did. It is such a good plant...I think this is the third year for me with it. And I am so happy with Grape Twizzler and can't wait to see how it develops.

Thank you, Kate and Brad. It has been like thid for over a week...Peak is usually a day or two. I suspect it weill be a shorter season than usual but that is fine with me...I have so enjoyed the intensity of blooms....yea, Kate that was quite a nice clump of EITW today.

Kay - Stealth Bomber here rarely has blue tones - only when there are very cool nights. It is normally a red violet with a pink watermark.

Laura, that is an illusion. a garen here is perfectly manicured for about ten minutes if ou are lucky. You can actually watch the weeds grow, I do try to keep on top of it, but have fallen behind a bit this week with a sinus infection... Thank you for your kind comments. It has been the most fun ever this year, I will admit.
