I did not have any real problems today. I get so used to having issues that I rush through just adding picture without comments. Probably just as well, I get a bit long winded.

Mountain Orchid is really pretty. I have been thinking if getting Swedish Girl which I think has a similar look. I wonder which would be a better plant. I am so sorry EITV will bot be as beautiful as usual, but very grateful to you. Mine may bloom within the week. I really like Prairie Splendor and Labyrinth too.

So glad you could finally post more. Your garden shots are wonderful! I love that first one of the long bed with the fog in the distance. Mountain Orchid, Prairie Splendor and Royal Banner caught my eye. I always love your Labyrinth clump, so I'm sorry to see the bugs decimated its buds. How do you feel about Bright in the Night. Is is a splotchy one? I got it last fall, but it has not scaped yet. I may have it planted in too much shade. I'll only move it to a sunny location if most of the blooms are good.

Farmer’s Daughter. Just liked this clump form

I call this one “One Sue” !! It has similar coloring and some shading like the real Two Sues. Just a noid if course!!

There are so many more, many of them new ones that I wanted to get on but far too much trouble. Maybe another time.

Nancy, no problem about EITV-it went to three people so I knew the clump would be smaller. It will bounce back! I have Swedish Girl also. It has a larger bloom and edge is darker for me.

Debra, Bright in the Night has had gorgeous blooms and splotchy blooms this year. You know how these are. It also tends to bloom low on top of foliage-I have had it a while-same habit every year.

Oooo, Mountain Orchid and Royal Banner are soooo pretty! Love the garden shot, I can’t imagine dividing all of those, the shot is so glorious as it is.

Mountain Orchid is a stunner! I like that Farmer's Daughter clump and color, Thundering Voice is beautiful and what a color!...Were you walking around looking at the blooms with a cup of coffee in your hand like I was? I love the garden shots....what is the light colored beauty in the foreground of the round bed, and waht id that luscious colored beauty if center back of the same bed? the colors really go well together in that center bed. The top bed looks really pretty and restful (of all things). What are the magenta beauties in the last bed shot? Royal Banner? T the really shine out there. I love that color, they are really pretty and I also like Seal of Approval.

Very frustrating whe you are trying to post and Houzz says nope. I had nine ready to go when they disappeared this morning and could get only two up before it stopped. Ah well.

Beautiful pictures, blooms and clumps, Kate! I love the bed shots, especially the first one with the fog... very moody. The picture of Mountain Orchid almost makes it look like something other than a daylily.

Kay, yes, indeed I had that cup (actually a thermos cup!) of coffee. And it was foggy! The near white is Stardust Dragon and the other one is Fear Not which I love for the color. I will post it here if Houzz allows! And leave it to you to ask about that other one!! There are lilies on either side and it looks snaky in there so I did not check it! Maybe tomorrow I will walk with a hoe and see if I can find the tag. This is the bed the tree cutter let my tree fall on and dragged the tree through my bed. I never found all my tags. Too bad I don’t have Celeste‘s memory!! Thank you for kind comments!!

Oh WOW! You certainly have some beauties here! Mountain Orchid knocked my socks off....what a spectacular way to start a thread. It is stunning. And then you followed up with lots of purples, so this is an especially appealing post to me. I have not seen Prairie Splendor before, or maybe I missed it, but it is really pretty and distinctive with that eye. I have always admired Labyrinth and that's a great shot of it. I don't recall seeing Thundering Voice before either, but I love that one too. Oh heck, I love them all.

Oh Celeste, now I always think of you when I see purples blooming in my garden! I think I bought Killer because of your photos of it and it has really been a winner here too although probably not the purple you get. I loved Mountain Orchid this morning! I usually don't like it when they bunch up at the top and bloom like that but oh my, what a sight it was! The edge usually has more of a purplish "orchid" color but it was cloudy and misty and this was the color on it. Thundering Voice is new-from last fall. It has opened in that perfect form with the tiny edge on every bloom. I think I am going to like it. Unlike you, I cannot remember mine so I am putting names on the new ones while in the yard to remember when I get in the house! Can't wait to see yours!!

Too many pretties to pick a favorite. Well, maybe one because it's my favorite form combination: Emerald Bay. Love the edge........Maryl
