HBMV is such a wonderful color, I can see why you are excited about it. Elegant Candy is an older one, but does so great. Last year it stayed in bloom here for such a long time. Sometimes I wish I kept records, it seems like it was in bloom all summer. Had my 1st bloom on it yesterday, but so wet here it did not look like much. I sure wish there were a way to ship some rain to those who could appreciate it more. I know I should not complain, I will be wishing for it later this summer. Would be nice to spread it out at least.

Love HBMV. a lovely color. This rain can be a problem, but we had really needed it. Doesn't mean I won't complain if it stays.

Heavenly Be My Valentine has interesting gentics. Is it pink or lavender? It's one I'm not familiar with. Are you breeding for UFs now? Elegant Candy is such a great grower and garden plant!

HBMV is a great color, hope you get some nice babies from it. I have a Meijer near my home, never shopped the garden dept. there, hmmmm.

Debra, I would say HBMV is hot pink. It's definitely not lavender. It rained almost all day here and it held up very well in the rain.

Bob and I find ourselves liking the unusual form daylilies more and more and would definitely breed with them. In fact, we have taken a liking to the diploids of Margo Reed. They have a grace that often the tetraploid bagels lack.

HBMV is also late season (it's blooming now because it just came from Florida), so we hope to cross it with some of our late bloomers.
