Just love your clump shots today! Everyone is my favorite, can’t choose today. I’m finally seeing scapes here, the timing is far from normal. I still have a few Stella’s, the blooms will most likely be a whole month late here. The kitties look so content!

Debra, I don't think you have ever shown a daylily that I did not like! I sure hope Two Sue's likes it here, that is a magnificent photo. I had my 1st bloom yesterday on Little Light of Mine. It is starting to become a real clump, but won't look as good as yours. I have Lillian's Vapor Trail, and I understand what you mean about messy. I like it, but L. Thin Ice appeals to me also. Tully Mars looks especially good to me on that photo, I don't remember being so drawn to it before. And what a wonderful surprise from Princess Diary. I assume it must be a named plant. Really pretty!

And so are the cats. Cowgirl looks a lot like my Pandora I lost 3 years ago. Coco is so handsome. When I was a kid almost all my cats were gray babies, they don't appeal to me at first. Like orange daylilies though, I have had a few. Throw some white on there and a pretty face though and i am a sucker.

The clumps are gorgeous! I especially like Applique and your near white seedling. that seedling is really pretty with the green throat.

Private Reserve and Stinger have lovely colors...they are beauties. And I like Your NOID and Blue Jay Tapestry.

Coco and Cowgirl are both pretty and look content and healthy.

Nancy - I think the surprise plant is likely Bell's Sycamore Bandit.

Kay - I'm honored that you mentioned my near white seedling. If I recall, near whites are something that usually top your like lists.

Debra, you take such beautiful photos. I love your clump shots. I just showed Bob your picture of Two Sues. We will plan to get that one next season. Your near white seedling is lovely! Tully Mars and Abilene Lillian are always two that catch my eye.

So number one pick would be Cowgirl. Tied would be Coco. All the daylilies are beautiful, but none are as necessary to one's own heart as a furry companion. That would be cats in my case............I know you won't stop with Lillian's Thin Ice. There will be more and more enabling pictures. For a UF and in my least favorite daylily color, white, you make it look sooo tempting. Private Reserve and Tully Mars are also stand outs...........Maryl

Beautiful clumps! Lillian’s Thin Ice certainly knows how to take a picture! But then, those kitties look like posers too. Sweet babies. Abilene Lillian also stands out. Kudos to getting a good shot of Private Reserve. I am attaching a morning shot of Bright in the Night so you can see height and plant. I was almost on the ground at eye level with the plant.

Kate - Bright in the night has a pretty bloom, but I don't want anymore short growers taking up space in full sun areas. I'm going to keep it in part shade and try to hybridize with it.

This is my favorite of all your posts so far. First, it has cute kitties, and then you put Lillian's Thin Ice in there blooming like a bouquet, Two Sues looking magnificent, and throw in all the other super looking blooms.....SCORE! It's a winner of a post.

Debra, I thought as much about Bright in the Night. It is in front border for me and I have room but, like you, if I had limited space, I would not give it a prime spot. A shame because it really is pretty.

popmama - Lillian's Thin Ice really is exceptional. I hadn't thought about it looking like Asiatic lilies.
