That is a pretty hosta with a unique form! In the Hosta Library the first picture looks similar to yours. The other photos look more like Patriot/Minuteman. I am sure the Hosta Library would love to include a picture of your hosta!

For all the years I have had it (2012) I have never had the "drawstring effect" on it . This was end of August 2014 . Glad to say it doesn't . Somewhere in my photos there is one in bloom Thanks Ken for info ..Mine is appox. 18 high by 32 inches across now

That looks more like it. Glad I didn't order the other one already. I almost planned a trip to PEI this year just so I could tour some of the Hosta nurseries along the way.
