Pink Camellias turning white

last modified: 7 years ago

Hi,

I have two beautiful large camellia trees that have been hedged and are roughly 80 years old (each approx 3m high, 3m wide, 1m depth). Over the past 5 years the flowers have been gradually becoming a more speckled pink/white. They are still beautiful, however was wondering if there was something lacking in the soil that could have changed them from a solid pink colour? Any ideas welcome :)
