We are in the middle of a partial DIY basement finishing. we want to be able to get into the space as soon as possible and continue finishing as time/budget allows. I plan on doing trim work myself but hire the carpet install. do we need to install trim work before carpeting or can it be done after? budget does not allow for both simultaneously. thank you.
